Ok Gang,
When I started this website I geared it heavily towards the powerlifting world, as I am a competitive lifter myself.
Since that time, I became a Certified Personal Trainer and have done a lot more reading on more general fitness and diet issues.I have also become very interested in Strongman training and many other training methods.  I have  become ad avid student of the Old School training methods, and 2 of my recent books reflect that heavily.I am currently working on a third such project that I feel will far surpass anything I have written thus far.
One of my favorite areas is DIY fitness projects, and my Frugal Fitness page is all about that.
While I remain a powerlifter at heart, I have become a bit more eclectic in my training and I love to share and promote a wide variety of fitness building techniques and I hope to hear about all of yours, even if they vary greatly from my own.

I have published links to various gyms & trainers all over, as well as links to other types of sports and outdoor activities that also share my Faith.
While I consider myself somewhat a "champion for the middle aged man",
I would love to have something to offer everyone here that is trying to better themselves from a spiritual and/or physical standpoint.

My free download page has many resources that are wide reaching in their appeal, I think. Please scroll all the way down the page to see all that's available.

My links page also has many good resources for other than"hardcore" lifters.
I still welcome the "brotherhood of iron" folks, and always will, but please don't feel left out or intimidated if you are not in that crowd.

If you jog, bike, hike, do calisthenics, swim, fish, hunt, mountain climb, etc.,I want you to feel welcome here and I am always looking for your input.

I don't know everything, and when someone else is doing a top notch job, I'm happy to direct you to them and not try and reinvent the wheel myself.

I would love to have more interaction with my readers whether you love me or hate me or somewhere in between.
If you find a bad link, a mistake or other problem, please let me know.
If you have ideas of things I should add, links, your Christian business, Church activities, etc., please drop me an email.

I will be doing my best to update "Dave's Rant", "News",. "Joke of the week", and "vid clip of the week" on a regular basis, and am hoping to do the Interview With... page on a regular basis with Christian Fitness enthusiasts of all kinds.

Please avail yourselves of all the free downloads here, but if you have a few
discretionary dineros, please consider purchasing one of my books via the links on the suggested reading page, or purchase from Amazon.

I am working on new projects, but I will never turn anyone away that just needs some advice or encouragement. Please click on the FORUM link on
left panel to ask questions or share training & diet info, your videos, etc.

I will approach all of these issues from a Christian worldview, always keeping in mind that while being physically fit and strong are desireable qualities, spiritual fitness and a vibrant, healthy personal relationship with Jesus Christ is far more important.
If you are of another faith, or none at all, you are still welcome to participate here, and I still want to hear from you!

 * If anyone would like to post info about their home

church,gym, upcoming events,meets,feedback,questions,

please email me with the  info and I'll be happy to post

 it here!*

Training or diet questions? Need help putting a program

together? Not sure where to start? Drop me a line, if I

can't help I'll do my best to direct you to someone that can.

Thanks for reading & viewing my pages & please come back!
